About The Team And The Role:
The Performance Management and client success group is accountable to make sure clients gain the most value from GreenSteam’s tools. Our performance managers guide the customer’s post-sales value journey.
The goal of the team is to maximize the value clients gain from GreenSteam’s tools, helping them become super-users and recognized as performance management experts within their organizations. They can uncover deep insights, and become GreenSteam advocates starting with supporting sales prospecting at the very beginning of a new client relationship to nurturing deep, long-lasting client relationships.
We are looking for a Fleet Performance Manager to join our team in Copenhagen; we like to see that you are an experienced shipping professional with experience from vessel performance optimization within the commercial shipping industry and ideally with a background as an officer or engineer onboard a cargo vessel. You will be in the center of our operations between customers, support, sales, and product development, which is why you need to enjoy being on the spot and able to handle both client and partner relationships to the benefit of all parties. You are self-driven and analytical with a flair for understanding and successfully communicating advanced technical information to a broad audience.
Responsibilities:
Manage partnerships technically and commercially.
Performance manage a dedicated pool of accounts on a technical level with analysis, guidance, training, and day-to-day making our customers happy activities.
Develop the performance management group’s analytics techniques, presentations, reports, and training methods.
Connect customer insights with product management and aid development as a subject matter expert in product development.
About You:
A bachelor/master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or similar.
5+ years of relevant experience from the industry, with preference given to vessel performance managers, technical superintendents, operators, etc.
Software development experience is a plus as experience from a startup or similar – we are not corporate and there is little distance from idea to action and implementation.
Entrepreneurial by heart and want to make an impact on this world by reducing the world’s trade emissions and environmental footprint.
Able to effectively plan and manage multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives with varying timelines and priorities.
Proficient in written and spoken English with vessel-specific terminology
