At imagiLabs we make coding fun for teenage girls. We want girls to have equal opportunities in the future, and if technology is the future then girls need to be equipped with the skills to help shape tech and the future! As our Community & Events Manager you will be key for helping imagiLabs deliver programming workshops and ambassador meetups and build our community in Stockholm.
A non-exhaustive list of tasks and responsibility areas:
Arranging our monthly (sometimes bi-weekly) programming/tech workshops for teenage girls
Making sure to spread the word pre-workshop and have everything ready to go
Being present and engaged with our community throughout our events
Being present and engaged with our community online!
We like having new and fun locations - you are free to propose ideas!
Assisting the team at partner events such as the Tekla Festival, Girls Get Equal Day, KTH Giants just to name a few
Brainstorming and suggesting new fun community activities
Working together with our Social Media and Marketing team on promotion and content creation
As a successful candidate you are/have/able to:
action-oriented and self-driven, able to take initiative
fluent in written and spoken English & have at least an intermediate level of Swedish
ability to meet deadlines and to anticipate next steps or needs
love working with people and building relationships
some experience with creating interesting campaigns and content on social media
work effectively both independently and as part of a team
We don’t care that much about extensive experience and a fancy CV, but rather that you have a great passion for our mission and that you wish to grow our impact as well as your own professional skills. We believe that you are currently studying or working as a main activity, but are looking for a new reference or challenge.
This position is a 4 months part-time internship with the possibility to grow into a paid position if mutually satisfied.
