Legacy is building the next generation of sustainability audit tool to bridge the gap between increasing environmental pressure on SMEs and the need for large corporations to ensure their green supply chain.


We are looking for an awesome Volunteer to join our quest in helping companies become more sustainable. We will train you to become a skilled Sustainability Consultant. Joining Legacy would mean that you become part of an ambitious and fast-paced team eager to disrupt the way environmental auditing works today. We are currently working on our prototype that will serve both private and public entities.


The Position

Legacy AI will become an essential tool for companies to do their impact auditing, and use the outcome as a way to transition towards a greener future. As a Sustainability Consultant Intern, you will play a crucial role in mapping the relevant standards in any given industry, based on which our software will be built.


Your tasks

Your tasks will touch upon several fields interconnected around our product, thus a great deal of independence and willingness for autonomous work is required. As with any startup, our to-do list is never-ending, and growing by the minute, which is why we encourage candidates to be proactive and take ownership of their responsibility areas. Currently, we expect the following to be your primary tasks:

  • In-line with our go-to-market strategy, map out relevant industries, industry segments

  • Dive into the current and prospective environmental standards of those industries

  • Break down those standards into actionable (and understandable!) milestones

  • Map industry-specific customer needs, and incorporate it in your assessment

  • Test and validate your findings with a selected group of our customers

  • Iterate your findings according to the feedback


Your Competencies

In order to carry out the above-mentioned tasks we expect you to be comfortable in navigating between different environmental certifications and regulations. More concretely we expect that you know something about:

  • GHG protocol calculations

  • Science-Based Targets

  • Circular Public Procurement

  • TEU calculations

After screening, selected applicants will be given a case to prepare and present during the face-to-face interview.
