Copus is a Copenhagen-based venture communications agency. We help high-growth startups build strong brands through PR, brand strategy, written content and video production. Clients include Soundboks, GoMore, Chooose, Dixa, Goodiebox and many more.

We are looking for a full-time Communications Specialist to join our team!

When building new ventures, it’s crucial to concisely communicate to all stakeholders: Investors, employees, users, journalists, ambassadors, and policy-makers.

We help successful startups and scaleups do just that. We cover everything from strategy to execution.

As a Communications Specialist at Copus, you will help tell stories for groundbreaking companies and build brands people want to be a part of. We expect you to have experience within PR, project management and written content - and perhaps video, too. Previous agency experience is a big plus and so is knowledge of the startup and VC world.

Your primary tasks might include:

• Develop and execute effective communications strategies

• Manage one or more clients

• Write content our clients' stakeholders care about

• Create and execute media-friendly PR stories

• Assist our video producers in creating creative video content for social media

The right candidate might look like this:

• You understand the importance of brands and communication in business

• You are a strategic perfectionist

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree within Communication, Marketing, Journalism or a related field

• You have relevant work experience in those same fields

• You find startups and scaleups inspiring

• You have strong writing and verbal communication skills

The position is paid. It's not a remote position, but we have flexible hours and working from home when needed is possible.
