We are looking for a mechanical design engineer who can assist our current team with design, test and implementation and take part in creation of new prototypes and components.
Are you an experienced mechanical design engineer with CAD and prototyping experience who know how to design for manufacture and assembly and design for plastic molding then keep reading.
We are looking mechanical design engineer to join our current team located in Søborg to take part in the current development of the uMover with design, tests and verification and in the creation of mechanical components to improve and mature our uMover vehicle. We are a small team, and you would work alongside with the founding team located in Søborg.
Your duties would be to:
Design new components
Test components (build prototypes)
Documentation of the design process
Document designs for manufacturing
Support the current development team with BOM and supply chain.
Support the team with assemble of components and uMovers.
Run tests with our partners (CPH airport and Munich Airport)
Some requirements:
Experienced CAD user (We use Fusion 360)
Great prototyping skills (we have a 3D printer)
Great communication skills (It's much easier to communicate on paper than spend half a day in CAD)
You know the basic DFMA theory and have preferably been using it in previous projects.
Design for injection molding is a plus.
Industrial design skills is a plus.
Design waterproofing enclosures is a plus.
Resourceful personality with a ‘can do!’ attitude.
General understanding and interest of micro mobility is a plus.
Fluent in English and Scandinavian Languages is a plus.
Ability to multitask and perform tasks that are not related directly to your position.
Previous working experience in small teams with similar tasks is a plus.
Strong communicator, ready to take responsibilities and is able to be respectful.
You understand the concepts and functionalities of a broad range of electrical components.
