Opportunity

Do you want to develop the revolutionary investment app for millennials? As the Software Engineer Intern, you’ll design, code and implement new component-based systems and features. You care about the end-user of the product as much as the developer who will work on your code next. You'll test your knowledge and skills in a fun, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and gain valuable experience.

Profile

You're pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent.

• Solid fundamentals in problem-solving, algorithm design and system design.

• Experience with open-source programming in Linux.

• Languages/Syntax: Experience in Python, Node.js, C++, SQL. Understanding of Typescript is desirable.

• Familiar with Git for version control.

We’re looking for a Software Engineer Intern who can collaborate with frontend engineers and data scientists on performance, functionality, and automation to enhance the user experience.

This role requires you as a candidate to own the quality of the code you write, with tests that keep the codebase in check to ensure the platform is rock solid. You’ll contribute to the long-term engineering excellence of the Clockwork systems including designing, implementing and reviewing new APIs. We look for someone who is driven to solve problems with new ideas and take action to bring them to life.

• Server Architecture: Lambda, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk.

• API Service: Rest and Websocket through API Gateway.

• Microservices: AWS Microservices.

• Relational Database: AWS RDS, Aurora, MySQL.

Formalities

The position is full-time for 3-6 months. We are flexible with start and end dates.

Our office is at the Symbion co-working space in Østerbro, which means you’ll be working in a vibrant and highly creative atmosphere.
