Cortrium Aps is expanding significantly globally after the launch of the new C3+ Holter Monitor (Medical Device) and are therefore searching for two Area Sales Managers to drive the market development in Key markets.


Area Sales Manager

The Area Sales Managers are key positions in the execution of Cortrium’s realization of the strategic business targets in the markets for GPs, specialized clinics and hospitals. The Area Sales Managers will refer to the CCO.

Responsibilities & tasks:

·       Identifying and negotiating contracts with potential distributors in new markets

·       Planning, execution and follow-up on commercial activities

·       Developing and supporting the positioning of Cortrium’s brands through targeted sales and marketing activities

·       Maximizing sales and profitability through effective negotiation with customers

·       Being up-to-date on new developments in the medical intelligence for wearables sensor technology

·       Identifying and pursuing value-creating growth opportunities

·       Supporting customers with ad-hoc resolving tasks

·       Participation in tradeshows, conferences and other events


Requirements/the ideal candidate:

·       At least 3 years of previous experience with international targeted sales strategies and implementation with corporate business organizations and public authorities

·       A strong understanding of different cultural know how to be used in commercial relations

·       Fully proficient in spoken and written English, and preferably in at least one other additional European language

·       Experience with sales and marketing to medical doctors and hospitals

·       Knowledge of brand and trade marketing is an advantage

·       A pro-active, independent, passionate, ambitious and result-oriented work ethics

·       A structured and analytical approach to fill the entire span from strategy to execution

·       Good presentation and communication skills in oral and writing as the position requires both internal and external interaction

·       Collaboration with Cortrium’s offices in Copenhagen and Berlin.

·       Expected travelling of 90 days per year
