We’re looking for a experienced SaaS Enterprise Architect to work on our product engineering team.

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to help design and deliver Cyrix's Experience platform SaaS platform. You will become the architect, making sure our processes and technology choices for designing, building, shipping, and monitoring are conducive to a successful SaaS delivery model.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

• Work with business stakeholders to define and drive architectural initiatives.
• Perform strategic technical planning and communication.
• Define and manage Architectural Runway for the Enterprise solution in the form of enabler epics.
• Understand and communicate strategy themes (such as expanding to new markets) and key business drivers for the architecture to the System Architects.
• Together with founding team formulate and communicate business domains of the software products and domain boundaries.
• Drive innovation by generating, collecting and analyzing innovative ideas across the organization
• Align security, quality, non-functional requirements, UX, infrastructure across the organization.
• Lead and mentor a team of senior developers, helping them to reach goals and develop their careers.
• Maintain a deep understanding of technology trends and direction

Required Experience:

• Experience with Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Event Storming.
• Delivered software using a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) approach
• Deep understanding of DevOps concepts like SLAs, SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, MTTD, MTTF, MTBF, and MTTR
• Extensive experience building and delivering large-scale distributed systems
• Deep knowledge of application monitoring, logging, tracing, telemetry, analytics, alerting, time-series databases, and visualization of this data.
• Experience with AWS including core compute, network, storage, deployment services, as well as visibility required for SRE style SaaS operations.
• Experience with Docker, microservices, containerized deployment, and service orchestration (Kubernetes preferred)
• Experience with canary and blue-green deployment strategies that reduce downtime and risk
• Experience in automating Continuous Integration, Agile principles, Continuous Delivery at scale
• Experience with Infrastructure automation (e.g. Resource Manager, Helm Charts, Terraform)
• Strong communication skills - written and verbal
• Demonstrated team leadership capabilities and ability to work effectively with all levels
• Proven excellent oral and written communication skills (including exceptional technical storytelling)

Desired Experience:

• Experience in data architecture and selection of appropriate storage technologies (e.g. SQL, No-SQL, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, etc.)
• Experience in transforming an organization from an on-premise software delivery model into SaaS delivery model.
• Experience in designing a system for multi-tenancy while factoring for common regulatory requirements
• Experience working with Feature-Flag/Feature-Toggle development
