TechBBQ,the largest tech and Innovation summit in Nordics is looking for an Academic Consultant for Japanese ecosystem together with Asia house. As an academic consultant at TechBBQ, you will be allocated in Innovation Lab Asia, a project collaboration between Asia House and TechBBQ, supported by the Danish Industry Foundation. Innovation Lab Asia is now moving into its second phase, connecting the Nordic Innovation ecosystem with Japanese investors and partners.

Your tasks:

• Promoting the Nordic innovation ecosystem in Japan.

• Promoting Japanese opportunities in the Nordics, including PR, blogs, and SoMe-activities.

• Writing a report on the Nordic innovation ecosystem for a Japanese audience

• Connecting with key Nordic stakeholders to ensure a common approach and strategy towards Japan.

• Planning investor delegations of Nordic investors to Japan.

• Planning activities for Japanese stakeholders and investors coming to the Nordics, including side events at relevant conferences, match making activities, and identifying relevant startups for Japanese investors.

Your qualifications:

• You have strong communication skills in Danish, English, and Japanese in writing and speech.

• You have higher education (at least graduate level).

• Fluent in Danish, English, and Japanese.

• You have an analytical mindset, and must be able to collect, structure, and analyze large volumes of data.

• You are capable at writing high quality reports for a business-minded audience as well as content for the web, newsletters, and social media

• You are extroverted and thrive on seeking out and entering into collaborations with various professional groups.

• You have an in-depth and personal knowledge of Asia .

• It is an advantage if you are familiar with Asian innovation environments .

Salary and employment conditions:

The position is a 9-month project employment, from February 1, 2020 - September 30, 2020.

The salary is determined according to qualifications. The workplace will primarily be at TechBBQ at Matrikel 1, and - to a lesser extent - at Asia House at Indiakaj, 2100 Copenhagen Ø.
