We’re looking for a fullstack developer to join us on our journey of using modern technology to create an unbiased, skilled-based recruitment process. Are you the next person to join our fast-growing team?

YOUR ROLE AS FULLSTACK DEVELOPER AT TENGAI

Our robot, Tengai, is already conducting interviews with candidates using the first version of its software. At the same time as we're improving the robot skills, we're also building an online web-based admin tool, Tengai Recruit. Our current backend is built on Node.js and hosted with Docker on AWS. The frontend is using JavaScript, React and Typescript.

Although, as we are still very early in our journey, you will be able to take part in choosing the tech and tools to be used, and how to define the role. If you're interested in cloud technologies and/or operations you could focus more on one that, or if you want to focus more on development on Kotlin development on the robot, the choice is yours. Code reviews and tests are of course part of our agile development process.

IN ADDITION

The work will involve close collaboration with different parties both internally within Tengai´s product and development team and with our external partners and consultants.

Occasional travel might be required.

WHO ARE YOU?

Since this is an early-stage start-up, we are looking for someone who enjoys the challenge of building products from scratch.

• We don't care if you learned to program at university or on your own, but to succeed in this role you probably have some experience bulding backend APIs using node.js or another language and frontend using React

• You have experience building something from scratch

• You like to share your knowledge.

• You are not afraid to ask questions to team members, managers and partners.

• You have excellent communication skills in English and comfortable with distributed teams.
