Responsibility for running the activities of the association and for delivering value to our startup members and other collaborators.
Being the key representative of the association.
Business development, looking for and guaranteeing the flow of new projects that match the association’s vision.
Administrative tasks including e.g. budgeting, reporting, HR.
Full-time job (flexible hours)
The contract is for a fixed 6 months term, with the possibility of extending it to 12 months and more. Possibility to continue in the team as a senior team member beyond the maternity leave replacement period.

Qualifications needed :
Entrepreneurial mindset - open and positive attitude and hunger to learn more.
Skills in project management, making sure that multiple simultaneous projects are proceeding according to the project timeline
Strong English and Finnish
Great communication skills in writing and speaking
Experience of a leadership position, budgeting and strategic planning. Experience from health and/or startup field is a plus
Strong ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
Excellent social skills and the ability to deal with multiple stakeholders, and to understand their needs and wishes.
Willingness to do also “small tasks” that come alongside when working in a small team. One moment you might be shaking hands with a minister, while the next you need to update the website.
Flexibility in working hours – some periods will be more intensive than others.
Upgraded is a non-profit association for health & wellbeing startups and innovations in Finland, founded in 2012. We are an active community of over 60 health startup members and dozens of partners and other friends. Our goal is to make sure that startup innovations have an established role in society as a source of health and wellbeing solutions. No good health innovation should be lost due to the lack of knowledge about it.
