SoMe & Content Marketing Intern

Salary Unpaid

GRIM is a start-up working to fight food waste. We do this in two ways: through our B2C GRIM subscription box containing ugly-by-nature organic and surplus fruit and vegetables. We sell our wonky produce also to B2B to food businesses. We shipped our first box in July 2018 and have so far saved over 350 tons of food. We are growing fast and are now looking to hire a full-time SoMe & influencer marketing intern. Could it be you?

Do you know how SoMe works inside out and do you understand the difference between fun and informative communication? Are you following the latest conversations around the topics climate, sustainability, food and culture? Can you create engaging content that matters in the right format for different channels in both English and Danish? Then you just might have found the right internship!

We are a small team with different nationalities and abilities, but we have our passion for food and the mission GRIM is on in common: that is to create a new standard for what’s edible.

As with any start-up, there are always different tasks every day, and we expect you to like that kind of environment and thrive under it.

As main tasks, you will:

· Research and produce high value & engaging content on the topics of sustainability, food, waste, cooking, ingredients, etc while following our principles of tone-of-voice

· Plan, schedule and manage SoMe activities

· Manage our blog and write the weekly newsletter to our customers

· Manage consumer communications and interactions across digital channels

· Assist with ongoing and ad hoc communication and marketing tasks

The job is for you if ...

· You are proactive and work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment

· You take ownership of your areas of responsibility and bring in creative ideas how to reach our KPIs

· You can present your work results on an ongoing basis in a clear, action-and goal-oriented manner

· You have experience with and strong interest for communication, SoMe and storytelling

· You share our passion for food and/or sustainability

· You write and speak English and Danish fluently

· You are a data-driven person who understands the numbers and can make decision based on what strategies work and don't

Team GRIM is located in a new food hub in Copenhagen Nordvest, which is shared with other food start ups. We value personality over a strong CV. Please note that this is an unpaid internship position and it is a requirement that you are available for a minimum period of 10 weeks.

Apply with your CV and motivational letter via The Hub

Working at
Eat Grim

Eat Grim is a platform for ugly and surplus fruits and vegetables. We are fighting one of the world’s most pressing environmental issues: about 1/3 of fruits and vegetables produced are lost for aesthetic reasons or because they are overproduced - while we are worried that we can’t feed the growing populations of the world. So in 2018, we created Eat Grim. We source the ugly and surplus produce directly from farms and bring it to the market in two ways: through a food box subscription to private consumers, making it easy for consumers to eat more sustainably. We also supply Grim produce to food businesses that want to make their sourcing more sustainable and transparent.
